The Crocker Brothers

The Crocker Brothers are a Texas Country band from Dallas, TX. Lead by brothers, Dustin (lead singer/guitar) and Jonathan (lead guitar/BGV), these guys have stumbled upon something great. The Crocker Brothers pair rich and vibrant vocals in a vintage format with dynamically progressive instrumentation.

“[The Crocker Brothers] take you back to the soul of country music, but with a modern day vibe.”

Dustin and Jonathan grew up in a musical family. In a household with a Gospel- singing mother and a traditional bassist/keyboardist father, The Crocker Brothers couldn't escape music if they wanted to. Dustin's passion for music began as early as he remembers. He was cranking the house stereo up and singing along with entire George Strait albums at 6 years old, trying to emulate his favorite artist and match every single note. Jonathan got his first drum set at 7 years old and began learning Classic Rock/Rockabilly (Elvis Presley) and Country (the good stuff from the 90's). At 12 years old, their grandfather pulled out an old Gibson acoustic guitar. He taught Dustin and Jonathan a few basic chords, and it quickly grew from there. By 14, there wasn't a song on the radio that Jonathan couldn't play on his new Fender Telecaster. At the same time Jonathan was trying to master the guitar, Dustin was strumming chords and stringing lyrics and melodies together, discovering his gift for writing.

The rest of the band is made up of two classically trained jazz musicians, John Lewis (drums) and Chris Legan (bass), as well as contemporary guitarist, Jason Brisendine. “It’s funny what you come up with when you put 5 guys of vastly different musical backgrounds in a room together to write a song. Whenever we find ourselves in mutual agreement on a new project, we know we are on the right track, even if that track changes course 10 different times along the way,” Dustin states regarding what his band mates bring to the table. "They make it fun."

The Crocker Brothers released their first single, Airstream, in April of 2016 and felt honored when a PR rep from Airstream, Inc. contacted them regarding licensing rights to the song. Their sophomore single, This Isn't Us, will be released on June 17, and they will both be available for purchase online. The band will remain in the studio throughout the year working on brand new tracks for their debut EP. In the meantime, help spread the word about this great band, so we can make sure these guys remain on the scene for many years to come.
